Healthy You Challenge #29
This week’s Healthy You Challenge focuses on your workplace:
Assess your workplace environment. Make notes on how your work station may be contributing to your chronic pain condition.
Most chronic pain conditions happen over time. Bad posture, lifting objects repeatedly with poor form, an ill-positioned computer or keyboard or chair; all these things and more can contribute to your low back pain, shoulder or neck pain, etc. Over the next couple weeks on the BRPM blog, we will be addressing specific things you can do in your workplace to alleviate chronic pain symptoms and conditions. We are excited to partner with University Physical Therapy for these posts, so be sure to visit the blog these next weeks for a wealth of workplace information and helpful accommodations.
